The various special editions of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
It’s not easy being a collector these days – Assassin’s Creed Odyssey got released this week, and Ubisoft decided to release not only one, nor two, but three different collector’s editions of this year’s entry in their long running stealth action RPG.
Write your own legendary Odyssey and live epic adventures in a world where every choice matters. Sentenced to death by your family, embark on an epic journey from outcast mercenary to legendary Greek hero, and uncover the truth about your past. Forge your path through a war-torn world shaped by gods and men, where mountains and sea collide. Meet Ancient Greece’s famous figures and interact with them during a pivotal point in history that shaped western civilization.
The EU exclusive Medusa Edition contains a 33 cm tall statue of the fallen gorgon, a 64 page artbook, a hand-drawn world map, and selections from the game’s soundtrack. Unlike the other two editions this one is available from various retailers like Amazon.
The Spartan Collector’s Edition swaps the gorgon for a statue of the game’s protagonist Alexios. In addition to the other physical extras it also includes a steelbook and an exclusive lithograph by Hugo Puzzuoli. This edition is exclusively available from the Ubisoft Store for $159.99.
If you don’t want Alexios to feel lonely you can also get the Pantheon Collector’s Edition instead which comes with a little friend for Alexios to leap at. Just like the Spartan CE this one is a Ubisoft Store exlusive, priced at $219.99.
